How to use the makerspace!

The makerspace is open to all students, faculty, and staff at UCSD. You can gain access to equipment here by completing training on specific items that you'd like to use. The process generally looks like this:

1. Sign the DocuSign waiver.
2. Watch our online tutorial videos for the equipment that you're interested in.
3. Each piece of equipment has slightly different requirements; see the equipment page for more details.
4. Come in during open hours and create an account on your first visit! Feel free to ask staff any questions you may have about using equipment and/or your project.

Once you've been granted access to a piece of equipment, you're able to return and make use of it at any time during our open hours.

At the moment we do not offer access to alumni or the general public.
